An Overview of Flip Spot
Flip Spot is an arcade game about parkour and skill that is physics-based, emphasizing flips, aerials, and landing. The idea is to launch from the platforms, keep your character from touching the ground while flying and aim to land upright on both feet to complete each stunt.
It has over seventy jump combinations, highs and lows, and landing spots, providing a new challenge for each jump. While attempting to create impressive combinations and higher scores, one can flip backward and forward and perform aerial turns.
How to Play: Flip, Rotate, and Stick the Landing
Gameplay Guide
Each stunt starts from a platform. Launch your character into the air, then control their rotation while considering your height and available airtime. Add flips and aerial movements to create combinations, but remember that every extra rotation makes the landing more difficult.
Game Modes
- Arcade Mode: Play one level at a time, with rising difficulties and more challenging tricks being released with each level.
- Free Mode: Play in an unlimited flipping zone and try out movements, tricks and longer combinations.
Coins & Items
As you advance, you can collect coins and get new tricks. New moves offer more possibilities for making longer, more complex aerial combinations. Mixing tricks may result in greater score potential, but also make it more difficult to maintain control.
Game Controls
- Spacebar / W / Up Arrow: Jump and flip
- R: Replay the level
- Esc: Pause the game

Tips for Excellent Flips
- Think about the landing first: Start preparing to stop your rotation before reaching the ground.
- Watch your airtime: Higher jumps give you more room for flips and combinations.
- Master simple tricks: Build control with basic movements before attempting longer sequences.
- Avoid over-rotating: Extra spins can increase your score potential but make landing harder.
- Use Free Mode: Practice difficult tricks and landing control without the level-by-level structure.
- Balance risk and reward: A clean, controlled landing is more valuable than a complicated stunt that ends in a crash.
Flip Spot rewards timing, precision, and aerial control. Master your rotations, unlock new tricks, and push each jump further while keeping your feet ready for the landing.
