PokéPath TD

What Is PokéPath TD?
PokéPath TD is a tower-defense game inspired by Pokemon based on the classic tower-defense strategy, but with the long-term development and management of the team. Rather than building towers, you roll Pokemon, upgrade them, evolve them, and keep off waves of enemies.
In PokéPath TD, you are in a position of managing a Pokémon team that is in charge of protecting 9 distinctive routes, each having a layout and a pattern of enemies. The waves of the enemies travel on the routes, and it is your task to prevent them by making clever positions, upgrades, and evolvings.
How to Play PokéPath TD
PokéPath TD follows familiar tower defense rules but with Pokémon depth layered on top.
You will:
- Deploy Pokémon along the route
- Defeat waves of enemies to gain experience
- Level up and evolve your Pokémon
- Adjust your team based on enemy types
- Switch routes freely without losing progress
If one path feels too tough, you can leave, train elsewhere, and return stronger later.
Controls:
- Mouse Click - Select Pokémon, place units, and interact with menus
- Drag & Click - Position Pokémon along the route
Leveling, Evolution, and Progression
Progression is one of the most satisfying parts of PokéPath TD. Pokémon gain experience from battles and can evolve into stronger forms, unlocking better stats and abilities.
Key progression features include:
- Pokémon retain XP even after losing
- Evolution significantly boosts power
- You can store unused Pokémon in your PC box
- Different routes reward different strategies
That Pokémon you ignored earlier? It might be exactly what you need later.
Auto Mode & AFK Farming
PokéPath TD includes an Auto Mode, allowing you to farm experience while you’re away. It’s perfect for:
- Leveling Pokémon passively
- Grinding earlier routes
- Preparing teams for harder paths
It’s optional, but extremely useful for long-term progression.
Legendary Pokémon Challenge
Your ultimate goal? Complete every route and defeat all Legendary Pokémon. These battles test everything you’ve learned from team balance to evolution choices. They’re tough, but fair. And beating them feels earned.
If you like Pokémon-style strategy games, long-term progression, and smart team-building, PokéPath TD is absolutely worth your time.
