About Rocket Soccer
Rocket Soccer is fundamentally referring to what it is: soccer using cars that are rocket propelled. It is not you running after the ball on your feet, it is you holding a wheel and hurling across the field and you are hurling your car into the air to crash the ball into the net. Speed matters. Timing matters. And when you strike the nitro at the right time you see.
It is a concept easy to grasp, but when the match begins, it becomes crazy in a matter of time. The ball bounces, collisions occur between cars and ownership of the ball can be transferred in a second. It is not as much traditional soccer but more the high-speed arena brawl where positioning, as well as car control, is equally as significant as getting the ball in the net.
Rocket Soccer Gameplay and Controls Guide
Rapid and fierce matches. The ball never stops, and nor does you. No one is standing around waiting in line to be given a pass and you are constantly moving, pushing, kicking and attempting to get the shot that would score the maximum number of points.
Quick Play will take you directly to the game when you simply feel the need to play. You might want something more orderly, in which case League Mode gives you a feeling of progress. You start with the Beginners League in which you are familiarized with steering and boost timing. It starts with Intermediate and then Expert where matches are much faster and more tactical in nature.
Winning the league matches brings in money and cogs which you will need to upgrade your car.
Game Controls
The controls stay refreshingly simple:
- W / A / S / D – Drive
- Left Shift – Nitro boost
- Spacebar – Jump
- F – Change camera view
The real skill comes from knowing when to boost, when to jump, and how to angle your car for a clean strike.

- Earn in-game money and cogs by winning matches in League Mode.
