How to Play Classic Bowling
Step onto the bowling alley and aim for your best score by knocking down pins. Play through ten frames to achieve the highest possible total, with 300 being the perfect score. Will you get it? Let’s challenge your skills and precision!
Position Your Bowler
Before each throw, move your bowler left or right to choose your ideal starting angle of the shot.
Controls:
- Press the left/right arrow to move the bowler sideways.
Set the Power
Once you're happy with your position, press the spacebar to stop the moving power meter. Of course, higher power sends the ball faster down the lane, while moderate power often provides better control. Still, it's worth noting that maximum power isn't always the best choice in Classic Bowling.
Add Effect
- Immediately after selecting power, a second meter appears for effect (spin).
- Press Spacebar again to determine how much curve the ball will have.
- Little or no spin = straighter shot.
- Moderate spin = improved angle into the pins.
- Too much spin can, of course, send the ball into the gutter.
Watch the Ball Roll
After setting position, power, and effect, your bowler automatically releases the ball, and it travels toward the pins.
