About Dig Out of Prison
Dig Out of Prison is a first-person escape game that’s all about playing it smart rather than playing it loud. You are a prisoner with a life sentence; you do not deserve and are locked in a small cell with only time, a spoon and a bad plan that gradually turns into a good plan. All you need to do is to dig your way out. Take it off without getting detected however, and then it turns really difficult. What begins with stealing a couple of scoops of dirt becomes a day to day juggle of having to cover up the traces, close deals, and always be mindful of how much time you have to go before the guard returns.
Gameplay Overview
Each in-game day follows a careful rhythm. You dig through the floor by lifting the carpet, then rush to hide all traces before the guard returns.. Dirt has to go down the toilet, tools need to disappear under the bed, and anything valuable should be placed on the bench. When the guard leaves, that’s your window to trade items, earn cash, and buy upgrades from other prisoners. Do it right, and each day brings you one step closer to freedom. Make a mistake, and you’re starting over.
