About Tap Road 2
Tap Road 2 is an action-packed follow-up to the original Tap Road by Azgames. This 3D arcade endless runner is a game where players have to navigate through a seemingly infinite neon track while avoiding a variety of deadly obstacles. The ball rolls forward by itself, and the only thing that needs to be done is reacting in time to change lanes and live as long as possible.
Tap Road 2 offers a fresh experience featuring new obstacle types, new maps, new sphere skins to unlock, progression tracking, global leaderboards and a new and exciting Challenge Mode. As the speed increases, each run is tougher and tougher, demanding reflexes, timing and concentration to achieve a high score.
Tap Road 2 Gameplay Guide
Start Your Endless Run
Select Classic Mode or Challenge Mode before starting the run. If you choose Challenge Mode, you will also choose one of the challenge types, with additional challenges unlocking as you earn more points.
Dodge Obstacles and Stay Alive
Your glowing sphere moves forward automatically along the neon highway. Time each lane switch carefully to avoid the numbered cube obstacles scattered across the track. A single collision ends the run immediately, so staying focused is essential.
Master Every Challenge
Challenge Mode introduces six unique gameplay variations that change how you play:
- Gravity Shift – Hold to lift the sphere as gravity changes its movement.
- Double Lane – Control two spheres simultaneously while avoiding obstacles.
- Blackout – Limited visibility forces you to rely on quick reactions.
- Orbit Run – Rotating environments make obstacle timing more difficult.
- Ghost Trail – The sphere disappears, testing your memory and concentration.
- Ultimate – Combines every challenge into the toughest mode available.
Adapt to Increasing Speed
The longer you survive, the faster your sphere moves and the more difficult the obstacle patterns become. Do not go for the set shot; look farther down the road and start to maintain a steady tapping rhythm as the tempo increases.
Collect Gems Carefully
Pick up gems whenever it is safe to do so. They can be used to unlock new sphere skins, but surviving the run should always take priority over risky collections.
